Fall River Fire Department battles 6-family apartment fire
A group of people have been displaced after a Saturday evening fire in the city.
A call came into Fall River dispatch just after 6:30 p.m. for flames showing at 210 Bradford Avenue.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered flames and black smoke on the second floor.
Fall River Fire proceeded to quickly knock down the fire in approximately 20 minutes, however, the floor still sustained extensive damage.
Multiple sources are reporting up to 25 people have been displaced with several of them children.
All occupants got out of the home safely.
The fire is under investigation.
