Fall River Salvation Army holding 5K road race fundraiser for children
A Fall River tradition is returning again this year.
The Salvation Army will be hosting the 11th Annual Fall River 5K For Kids Walk and Run on September 18th.
The race is set to take place at the Fall River Industrial Park with both the start and finish of the race occurring at the Holiday Inn Express at 360 Airport Road.
There is an 8:30 a.m. check-in with a 10:00 a.m. start time.
Gift cards and/or awards will be handed out across gender and age categories.
Funds raised will be used for scholarships to send deserving youth to Camp Wonderland, the Salvation Army’s Summer Camp in Massachusetts.
Post-race refreshments will be available for all registered runners.
