Police in RI looking for suspect who fired multiple shots into residence

Police are looking for help in identifying the suspect involved in a April 15, 2021, shooting incident on Chaplin Street in Pawtucket.

According to police, on April 15, 2021, at approximately 9:51 a.m., police responded to the area of Mendon Ave at Ordway Street for the report of shots fired. Upon arrival, it was learned that a home on Chaplin Street had been shot at. The house was occupied at the time of the shooting, however, no one was injured.

Video surveillance was obtained which showed the suspect approach the rear of the house and pull out a dark semi-auto handgun. The suspect then fired multiple rounds into the house and then fled through the neighbor’s backyard.

The suspect appeared to be a male, dark skinned, thin build, and in his late teens to early 30’s. The suspect was wearing a black face mask, bright white sneakers, black pants, black hooded sweatshirt with red lettering and a “Freddy Krueger” hand on back of sweatshirt.

The Pawtucket Police Department is looking to identify the above person.
