Fall River continues to see COVID-19 deaths, but weekly case total sees marked decline
Fall River saw more cases of COVID-19 announced on Thursday in the City of Fall River’s weekly report.
According to the Mayor’s Office, 12,053 total cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, a 164 case increase reported since last Thursday.
The 164 cases is a marked decrease from the 298 cases reported the previous week.
The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.
Deaths in Fall River contributed to COVID-19 increased to 308 as 7 new deaths have been reported since February 11th. 10 deaths were reported last week
Last week, Mayor Paul Coogan held a press conference from Fall River’s COVID-19 vaccine clinic located at Bristol Community College. The site is operated by the Fall River Department of Health and Human Services, with support from the Fall River EMS and sponsorship from the State of Massachusetts.
