Westport woman killed in hit and run
DARTMOUTH, MA – On Saturday, March 3, 2018 at approximately 6:59 p.m., members of the Dartmouth Police Department responded to the area of #653 State Road regarding a hit and run crash involving a female pedestrian.
Upon arrival, it was determined that Stasha Lynn FARIA, 33, of Westport had died as a result of the injuries she sustained during the crash, and that the suspect vehicle had fled the scene.
The investigation by Dartmouth Police and Massachusetts State Police is ongoing.
A BOLO for a Jeep was sent out later in the night, but it is unclear if that is the vehicle in question.
