Family of Two Murdered Fall River Men Appear in Court as Alleged Killer Skips Probable Cause Hearing

The family of two men brutally murdered on June 10 on Aetna Street, Eduardo Cardoza, 19, and Pablo Henrique Rocha-DaSilva, 20, stand outside the Fall River Justice Center Tuesday morning. The alleged murderer, Victor Francisco Gomes, 28, had a probable cause hearing scheduled, but according to a court officer, was not going to appear in person and another court date is expected to be set.

Gomes is alleged to have shot both men then stabbed one in the head with a pitch fork and smashed the other with a rock to his head. He is charged with two counts of murder and other related weapon charges.

Gomes is currently being held without bail.
