Fall River armed robber issues bomb threat to convenience store
A Fall River armed robber made a serious threat and it may not have been the first time.
According to Fall River Police, on Tuesday December 22, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Officer Jason Fournier responded to Ruby’s Convenience Store, located at 1737 Bay Street regarding an Armed Robbery.
The suspect, which is shown above, entered the store wearing a black Nike jacket with gray sweatpants, a gray hoodie, a black mask and blue/white running sneakers. The suspect produced a note stating “I have a bomb now” and demanded money.
The suspect is described as being white with a husky build and approximately 5’6″ in height.
The suspect was later chased away by the store clerk and was last seen walking north on Bay Street.
On December 18, Somerset Police investigated a similar Armed Robbery in their town. The suspect also a produced a similar note to the clerk indicating that he possessed a bomb.
