Fall River sees nearly 100 COVID-19 cases Wednesday as the death total increases
Fall River saw more cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.
According to the Mayor’s Office, 7,160 total cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, a 95 case increase since Tuesday.
The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.
Deaths in Fall River contributed to COVID-19 increased to 210 as one new death was reported today. One death was also revealed yesterday. A death was also reported over the weekend. Last week, the City had been notified of 3 more fatalities Friday and 4 more fatalities on Tuesday.
90 COVID-19 cases were reported on Thursday. Friday saw a record 211 cases. For Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, there was a 219 case increase. 57 new cases were revealed on Tuesday.
Mayor Coogan stated that new numbers will not be released until Monday.
