Fall River sees record number of COVID-19 cases Friday as deaths increase to 205
Fall River saw more cases of COVID-19 on Friday.
According to the Mayor’s Office, 6,789 total cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, a 211 case increase since Thursday.
The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.
Deaths in Fall River contributed to COVID-19 increased to 205. The City had been notified of 3 more fatalities today and 4 more fatalities Tuesday. There were 6 fatalities over the weekend. Last week, 5 fatalities were announced on Friday, 1 fatality Thursday, 2 Wednesday, 3 Tuesday, and 9 fatalities over the weekend.
235 cases of the coronavirus were added over the weekend. 58 more cases were announced on Tuesday. On Wednesday, 129 new COVID-19 cases were revealed. 90 cases were reported on Thursday.
