Man shot and killed this afternoon in Fall River
According to scanner transmissions, a male has been reportedly shot in the area of
UPDATE: According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, the victim, a 24 year old from Fall River, has died from his injuries. He was pronounced dead at Saint Anne’s Hospital.
According to scanner transmissions, a male has been reportedly shot in the area of 407 South Main St around 4:30 p.m. He was reportedly getting off of a bus.
The area has been blocked off by police.
One man was taken into custody by police after a foot pursuit shortly after, but the role the suspect played in the shooting is unclear at this time.
Witnesses reported seeing two men running from the scene.
Fall River police are still at the scene and investigating the incident.
