Fall River COVID-19 case counts continue to climb Friday after 2 weeks in the red
Fall River saw additional cases of COVID-19 in Friday’s report.
According to the mayor’s office, 2,382 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, a 31 case increase.
The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.
The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River remains at 136.
Friday saw 6 COVID-19 cases. 45 cases were announced for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The report on Tuesday revealed 8 cases. Wednesday saw 27 cases of COVID-19. 21 cases were reported on Thursday.
The state can pull back on the city opening, after COVID-19 restrictions were eased, if Fall River is in the red for a third week. The city has been in the red for two weeks and cases continue to increase.
