A unique spot in Fall River opened its doors Saturday morning.
Ket’s Bakery has arrived at the former NY Fresh Bagel & Bakery and Katrina’s Bakery at 248 Jefferson Street.
Owner, Ketlyne, told Fall River Reporter that it will be the first Haitian bakery in the Fall River area owned by a local Haitian-American owner.
Ket’s Bakery offers daily fresh baked Haitian patties, sweets and pastries in addition to per demand customized cakes, incorporating her flavorful culture in the recipes. They also will create a wide array of Haitian patés, bread, kokiyòl, muffins, sweets, cakes, drinks, and coffee.
Ket’s Bakery’s space aims for a calming atmosphere that is designed to evoke a peaceful, home-like feel while serving fresh ingredients and authentic Haitian flavor.
Hours of operation are Monday to Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
