Fall River sees double digit cases in Monday report; deaths remain at 117

Fall River saw additional cases of COVID-19 in Monday’s report.

The City saw 12 new cases in today’s report, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the total in Fall River increase to 1,799.

The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.

The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River remains at 117.

Tuesday, 7 new COVID-19 cases were reported. 15 additional cases were reported on Wednesday. Thursday, 8 more cases were revealed. On Friday, 9 new cases were reported. Saturday saw 4 COVID-19 cases. 8 more cases were reported on Sunday.

Massachusetts sees decrease in reported COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths Monday

The City continues to encourage residents to practice social distancing. This means keeping a distance of 6ft between individuals. Continue to wash your hands on a regular basis, clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, and stay home as much as possible, especially when you are sick, and wear a face covering when out in public. These measures will help to limit the spread of COVID-19.

The City wants to remind residents that Government Center Reopened to the Public on June 8 by appointment only.
