Home evacuated in Fall River after truck snaps pole, hits gas line, home
A vehicle has struck a home and pole that has caused a home to evacuate this morning.
A call came into dispatch at approximately 7:15 a.m. for a motor vehicle crash with injuries at 976 North Eastern Avenue.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a white truck that had hit the home.
In addition to hitting the home, the white truck snapped a telephone pole which caused down wires.
The truck also reportedly impacted a gas line and meter which caused the home to be evacuated.
Gas service to the home has been shut off.
There is no word yet on the severity of injuries to the driver.
