Massachusetts sees cases of COVID-19 increase to 5,752, 8 more deaths including 1 from Bristol County

Massachusetts has seen 797 more positive cases in the last 24 hours. An increase from the previous 24 hour period.

The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 5,752 with 54 total deaths.

Massachusetts had seen 698 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.

42,793 people total have been tested.

Massachusetts continues to ramp up testing.

Massachusetts residents subject to COVID-19 quarantine by current status up to March 24, 2020
Total of individuals subject to quarantine: 3,802
Total of individuals who have completed monitoring (no longer in quarantine): 1,655
Total of individuals currently undergoing monitoring/under quarantine: 2,147

According to the CDC, as of March 30th, the total amount of cases in the country is 140,904 with 2,405 dead.

Fall River, Westport, Dighton, Somerset, Swansea, Seekonk, Berkley, New Bedford, Taunton, Lakeville, Easton, Raynham, Mansfield, Attleboro, Middleboro, and Freetown have all seen cases of COVID-19.
