White Christmas possible for Monday
Are you hoping for a white Christmas? The Fall River area will possibly get a little snow. The further north you go, the more likely you will get several inches of snow.
According to the National Weather Service in Taunton, Sunday night we have a slight chance of snow before 10 p.m., then rain and snow between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m., then rain after 3 a.m.. Low around 33. Northeast wind 8 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
On Christmas Day rain is likely before 9 a.m., then a chance of snow between 9 a.m. and noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 38. Breezy, with a west wind 8 to 13 mph increasing to 19 to 24 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
