Late night fire in Fall River displaces two
A late night fire in Fall River seriously damaged a car and caused damage to a home.
A call came into dispatch at approximately midnight for smoke, explosions, and flames at the intersection of State Avenue and Bailey Street near the Tiverton and Fall River line.
Both Fall River and Tiverton personnel responded.
Firefighters who arrived on scene discovered a vehicle on fire in the driveway with the flames spreading to the side of the home at 392 State Avenue. The entire side of the home had been charred by the blaze.
No injuries were reported, however the Red Cross reports that two people were displaced in the fire.
The fire is under investigation.
