Fall River UFC newcomer to face former NFL star in March
The UFC has announced the next fight for Fall River’s Yorgan De Castro.
According to the UFC Twitter page, De Castro is set to take on former NFL star Greg Hardy in a heavyweight bout at UFC 246 on Saturday March 28th at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
The event will be carried on ESPN.
De Castro, a Contender Series graduate, made a splash in the octagon with a big knockout punch against Justin Tafa in his UFC debut in October.
Hardy, who is 5-2 with 5 knockouts, is a former defensive star for the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys.
