Fall River man arrested on drug charges Friday
The actions of a smart thinking bystander led to the arrest of a Fall River man Friday and possibly avoided an accident or worse.
According to Rhode Island State Police, at 7:51 p.m. Friday evening, troopers arrested Jose Rodriguez, age 30, of 4801 N Main Street, Fall River, for Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I-V (Suboxone).
The arrest of Rodriguez was the result of an E-911 telephone call reporting an erratic operator which resulted in a subsequent motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the Town of Hopkinton.
Rodriguez was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace, and released.
