Fall River Police, bystanders, reportedly save man from jumping off of Braga Bridge
Local authorities and bystanders just may have saved a man’s life this evening.
According to scanner transmissions, Somerset and Fall River authorities responded to the Braga Bridge at approximately 7:00 p.m. for an attempted jumper.
According to witnesses and reports, people were holding the man by the legs to stop him from jumping.
Several witnesses stated that he was holding on to the fencing while he was being held.
Shortly after, Fall River Police had the man in custody.
