Mayor Correia’s Chief of Staff resigns for recall campaign
Gen Andrade, who was Mayor Correia’s Chief of Staff, resigned from the position on Friday.
Andrade has stated she is resigning to help Correia in his campaign in the recall election. Andrade has previously served as Correia’s Campaign Manager.
In November of 2017 it was announced that Andrade would take over the position of Chief of Staff.
Andrade at the time of her hire made a statement on her Facebook page accepting the position.
“After many years of being a part of many campaigns I feel honored and privileged to have been asked to fill the position of Chief of Staff in our great city of Fall River. I would like to thank Mayor Jasiel Correia II for giving me the opportunity to work alongside him. My goal is to make sure the city continues to move forward and with the leadership of our Mayor it will.”
