Fall River Forever Paws Hiccup is a found stray, playful, and best friends with everything and everyone he meets

Meet Fall River Forever Paws Pet of the Week Hiccup!

He’s ridiculously cute. He’s silly. His ears don’t fit. He has puppy breath.

He’s perfect.

Hiccup is about four months old and weighs just over 25lbs. He’s going to be a big boy when he’s all grown up – probably around 70lbs or so. Somehow, impossibly, this boy was found as a stray and no one ever called to claim him. Forever Paws has no idea why because he’s an absolute DELIGHT. They really have no idea what breed he is, but if we had to guess…most likely some sort of lab/border collie mix.

Hiccup is all things puppy. He’s playful, he’s immediately best friends with everything and everyone he meets, he loves life, and everything is just SO exciting ALL of the time! He’s genuinely not terrible on a leash for a puppy – he could obviously use some basic training but, all things considered, he’s got a pretty good foundation.

He will most likely be too much for older, calmer dogs to deal with. He’s always up to some shenanigans or mischief. If it’s a more tolerant dog that either has eternal patience or can match that silliness, he would do great! Cats are a little concerning to him – he doesn’t understand what they are or what their purpose is. He didn’t show any red flags, but he also has no idea what to do with them. He would be great with kids 5+ as long as the family is dog savvy and understands that puppies can be clumsy, bouncy, and mouthy until they learn manners.

If you’re looking for sunshine in dog form, Hiccup is it!
