The City of Fall River is happy to welcome a new vehicle to their fleet.
According to EMS, earlier this week Fall River EMS officially put their new “Medic 6” into service, and it responded to its first emergency of many, shortly after.
Almost a year ago, the old Medic 6 was hit by a wrong way, uninsured, driver. Since then, the crews of Medic 6 have been utilizing the spare trucks that Fall River EMS has. EMS stated that using spare trucks is never easy and causes you to always be swapping trucks.
EMS is thankful for the new vehicle.
“We want to recognize all the people who had a hand in getting our new truck in service. We want to thank the administration of EMS as well our incredible maintenance team. We look forward to watching our new truck respond to many emergencies over the next several years!”
