Despite confirmation from loved ones, a Massachusetts man still can’t believe the big payday he recently won playing a State Lottery game.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Michael Berman of Westford is the winner of a $475,118 prize on a $10 bet while playing ” Big Crush Multiplier,” an online-only eInstant game available through Mass Lottery Online.
Berman claimed his prize (before taxes) at the Mass Lottery’s headquarters in Dorchester. Prizes won purchased online of $50,000 or more must be claimed at the Lottery’s headquarters in Dorchester.
His wife and dad (on video call) confirmed the win, but says he’s still in shock even with the check in his hands.
To play Mass Lottery games online, players must be 21 or older and physically located in Massachusetts at the time of play and to make a deposit to their account. Players need to have a Mass Lottery Player Account, which can be created at masslottery.com or by downloading the Mass Lottery app on a mobile device or tablet.
