A lifelong Fall River man that gave service to the city as a police officer has died.
68-year-old Scott P. Paul passed away on Thursday at Fall River Healthcare.
According to an obituary, Scott was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School and he attended Bristol Community College.
The Fall River Police Department announced that Scott dedicated many years to serving his community as a member of the department. During his career, he served as a K-9 Officer with his K9 Partner Ziggy. He also worked in the patrol, special operations and vice and intelligence unit.
“Scott enjoyed restoring and fixing antique cars. He cherished spending time with his family and was a wonderful and devoted Dad. He especially loved being out on the water, and enjoyed boating and fishing.”
Private arrangements are in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place.
