Authorities say that a Fall River man who was reportedly wanted has been captured in Rhode Island.
Warwick Police announced Wednesday that they had arrested 21-year-old Lamahrion Colson on an active, extraditable warrant issued by the Fall River Police Department.
Colson, who police said has an extensive criminal history, was wanted on a charge of Aggravated Assault –Dangerous Weapon and Assault/Battery on a Household Member-Subsequent Offense from June 14th.
He was taken into custody without incident and processed as a fugitive from justice pending extradition to Massachusetts.
According to Fall River Police, the extraditable warrant Warwick PD mentioned appears to be a default warrant issued by the Fall River 2nd District Court.
Details are limited as the charges are domestic in nature.
