A motorcyclist is dead after a collision that took place on Friday night in Rhode Island.
According to scanner transmissions, at just after 10:00 p.m., a call came into dispatch for a serious motor vehicle crash with a vehicle on fire and a body in the road in the area of 943 Tunk Hill Road near the Potterville Fire Department in Scituate.
It was determined that a tow truck and motorcycle were involved and CPR was being performed on the rider.

WJAR 10 is reporting that the 22-year-old motorcycle rider from Foster was pronounced dead at the scene and the tow truck driver was hospitalized.
Speed may have played a factor in the crash.
