It is not every day that a trip to the gas station results in someone becoming a millionaire but that is exactly what happened recently after the purchase of a scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, IASACO Trust of Quincy has claimed a $2 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$25,000,000 Mega Money” $50 scratch ticket game.
The trust, represented by trustee David Spillane, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $1,300,000 (before taxes).

The winning ticket was purchased at Mobil, 386 Main St in Melrose. The store will receive a $20,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
$25,000,000 Mega Money has two $25,000,000, two $2,000,000, and six $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
