Fall River Police investigating evening shooting after locating over a dozen shell casings

Fall River Police are investigating a late-night weekend shooting.

According to scanner transmissions, a call came into dispatch at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Sunday for a party allegedly shooting at a home in the 200 block of Globe Street.

Upon arrival, officers discovered about 20 shell casings in the street.

When officers found evidence of a shooting, hospitals were checked for any gunshot victims, and none were reported at the time.

No word yet on if there are any suspects.
