Fall River Fire Department extinguishes early morning fire at commercial building

The Fall River Department extinguished an early morning fire on Thursday.

At just after 5:15 a.m. a call came into dispatch for flames and smoke showing from the top of the single-story building at 419 Lindsay Street.

The structure that formally housed the B’s Nest and Sportsman’s Cafe is reportedly vacant.

The blaze was quickly extinguished.

The Fire and Building Inspectors were called to the scene to investigate.

No injuries were reported.
