Early morning crash results in injuries, sends driver to New Bedford hospital

An early morning crash on Friday morning sent a driver to a local hospital.

According to the Lakeville Fire Department, they responded to Highland Road just after midnight for a reported single-vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, firefighters located an adult male suffering from injuries. Crews provided on-scene medical care before transporting the patient to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford for further evaluation.

The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The crash is under investigation.
