Police and EMS respond to Taunton parking lot after person found deceased

A person was determined to be deceased in a car in Bristol County on Tuesday.

According to scanner transmissions, at just before 6:30 p.m., a call came into dispatch for an unresponsive individual in a vehicle in a parking lot in the area of 40 Grove Street in Taunton.

Upon arrival, crews discovered the person to be deceased and a possible unattended death.

Fall River Reporter contacted the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office which stated that the death is not suspicious and likely medical in nature.
