An iconic Fall River landmark will soon have new life.

Renovations are underway at the former Nite Owl Restaurant on the corner of Eastern Avenue and Pleasant Street.

According to the Flint Neighborhood Association, Brian Levesque, has been at the Nite Owl daily with his father remodeling the property.

Within the next week or so they will have electricity installed. Once that happens, they can start the build out process.

The diner, which has been around since the 50s, can seat about 20 people and includes a basement with a bathroom.

The parking lot is also part of the property.

If all goes according to plan, the Nite Owl will open in May of this year.
