Police are looking for the public’s help after a man reportedly assaulted workers at a local hardware store after stealing merchandise.

Somerset Police, who jokingly made fun of the suspect’s slides in 35-degree weather, say that he helped himself to some hand tools, then upgraded his bad decisions by adding “hands-on behavior,” shoving Loss Prevention twice.

The suspect left the area in a Buick with NH plates 562-0223.

If you have any information, contact Officer Botelho of the Somerset Police Department at 508-679-2138.
