Massachusetts State Lottery announces winner of $1 million prize at 7-Eleven

A Massachusetts convenience store is responsible for issuing a winning $1 million lottery ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, September 18 Trust Agreement of Middletown, RI has claimed a $1 million prize won on a Powerball ticket purchased in Natick for the multi-state game’s Saturday, September 6th drawing that featured a $1.787 billion jackpot.

The trust, represented by trustee Cristina Offenberg, claimed the $1 million prize (before taxes) Wednesday, October 2 at the Massachusetts State Lottery’s Dorchester headquarters.

The winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven, 172 North Main St. in Natick. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
