94-year-old battles back from COVID-19 diagnosis, now testing negative
COVID-19 has caused serious, sometimes fatal, conditions for older people, particularly those in assisted living homes. One particular 94-year-old was determined not to let the coronavirus get the best of her.
According to Riverview Healthcare Nursing Home in Coventry, Rhode Island, Fannie, one of their residents, was diagnosed with COVID-19 a few weeks ago.
Fannie wasn’t going down without a fight.
“I have 7 lives and have been to hell and back!”
On Tuesday, Fannie was back to sitting comfortably in her favorite chair wrapped in her prayer shawl as a survivor.
In a post, Riverview Healthcare stated that Fannie has recovered and is now COVID-19 negative.
Fannie’s granddaughter Sarah was thrilled that her grandmother had come out on the other side of COVID-19.
“She’s 1 in a million! Love you!! God is good to those who love him and put all their trust in him.”
