6-year-old in critical condition after being ejected in Massachusetts crash
A crash has left a young child fighting for his life.
According to police, shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Carlisle Police received several 911 calls reporting a two-car collision with injuries. When officers arrived, they discovered a 6-year-old boy was seriously hurt after being ejected from his mother’s car during the crash.
A witness reported to police that they saw one vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed at the intersection of North Road and Rutland Streets, then moments later heard the crash.
Officers and firefighters treated all occupants on scene, while the 6-year-old boy was transported via MedFlight to Children’s Hospital in Boston in critical condition.
The crash is under investigation.
