I drove by shortly after it happened. The police were conducting their investigation with marks on the road and tires of the vehicle driving the vehicle between the marks in the roadway to determine approximate speed and braking distance I’m assuming…. The operator of the vehicle had to be going pretty damn fast. The person who was hit whole body almost went all the way through the windshield! What made no sense to me was I saw no damage to the front of the car, just a big hole in the windshield and a shoe, a bottle of Coke and a few other things I’m the road. I’d say speed and lack of attention were the cause. People don’t pay attention, EVER! .
