5 people transported to Taunton and New Bedford hospitals, including 2 children, after rollover crash
5 people were transported, including children, after a morning rollover crash.
According to the Lakeville Fire Department, the accident occurred around 11:20 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Myricks and Kingman Streets.
Ambulance 3, Engine 1, and Car 2 responded initially. On arrival by Lakeville Firefighters, an additional 2 mutual aid ambulances were requested.
A recall of off duty and on call firefighters was transmitted, allowing Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 to respond to the scene.
In addition to Lakeville Fire assets, Taunton Engine 9 and 3 Brewster ambulances were sent to the scene.
An adult female and male were transported to St Luke’s Hospital by the Lakeville Ambulances 3 and 1. Taunton Ambulances transported a pediatric patient to Morton Hospital, a second pediatric patient to St Luke’s, and an adult female to St. Luke’s.
The Berkley Fire Department Ambulance evaluated an adult patient but that patient refused treatment and transport.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.

I was in this car accident today. We were the truck that flipped over and i thank God that my baby and family are okay we are so blessed and so lucky thank you to all the people that helped us and a big thank you to the civilian man that helped me get my daughter out of the car seat.

That’s a bad intersection. I go by there all the time going to my daughter’s house.
