$5 Massachusetts State Lottery scratch ticket results in $1 million prize

Sometimes it takes one of the more expensive State Lottery tickets to hit a million or more, but not always as was the case recently.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, SKB 100 Trust of Quincy has claimed a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$1,000,000 Ultimate 7” $5 instant ticket game.

The trust, represented by trustee David Spillane, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes).

The winning ticket was purchased at Honey Farms, 167 Daniel Shays Hwy. in Orange. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$1,000,000 Ultimate 7 has 2 more $1 million prizes remaining.
