A weekend shooting victim is being remembered by those who knew him.

According to police, at approximately 2:19 a.m. Saturday, Worcester Police officers responded to a reported Shotspotter activation on Allendale Street. A 24-year-old male was found unresponsive. Officers rendered aid before he was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Family members say the victim was Robert Nuah.

Those who knew Nuah described him as a good young man.

According to a GoFundMe fundraiser, Nuah “had been eagerly anticipating his upcoming graduation from dental assistant school next month and planned to continue schooling at QCC this Fall 2024 to continue his journey in dentistry. From first interactions, Bob could create a bond with anyone, making strangers into life-long friends. Bob was a man that anyone could count on. Knowing Bob is loving Bob. Bob would always consider other people’s feelings before his. He would drop everything down to be there for you. His very affectionate nature made it hard to not adore him dearly. There are so many beautiful qualities about Bob. As soon as he put his mind to something, it was going to be accomplished. Bob’s heart has reached wide and far, from being a staff member at the Environmental Council to being an active member at Word Based Ministry.”

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
