While Massachusetts has seen a marked decrease in COVID-19 cases since the height of the pandemic, some cities and towns have recently seen an increase.

As of August 5th, according to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Westport has seen a total of 106 confirmed cases of COVID-19. In the last two weeks, Westport has seen 7 positive tests out of 399 for a positive test rate of 1.75%.

Taunton has seen a total of 1051 confirmed cases of COVID-19. In the last two weeks, Taunton has seen 55 positive tests out of 1,964 for a positive test rate of 2.80%.

Swansea has seen a total of 147 confirmed cases of COVID-19. In the last two weeks, Swansea has seen 4 positive tests out of 379 for a positive test rate of 1.06%.

Somerset has seen a total of 217 confirmed cases of COVID-19. In the last two weeks, Somerset has seen 5 positive tests out of 446 for a positive test rate of 1.12%.

Rehoboth has seen a total of 72 confirmed cases of COVID-19. In the last two weeks, Rehoboth has seen 4 positive tests out of 182 for a positive test rate of 2.20%.

Raynham has seen a total of 245 confirmed cases of COVID-19. In the last two weeks, Raynham has seen 6 positive tests out of 347 for a positive test rate of 1.73%.

New Bedford has seen a total of 2258 confirmed cases of COVID-19. In the last two weeks, New Bedford has seen 60 positive tests out of 2,722 for a positive test rate of 2.20%.

Middleborough has seen a total of 279 confirmed cases of COVID-19. In the last two weeks, Middleborough has seen 7 positive tests out of 644 for a positive test rate of 1.09%.

Lakeville has seen a total of 62 confirmed cases of COVID-19. In the last two weeks, Lakeville has seen 0 positive tests out of 251 for a positive test rate of 0%.
