2 injured in serious Route 44 crash Tuesday
Authorities responded to a serious crash on Route 44.
According to the Lakeville Fire Department, Lakeville and Middleborough Fire Departments responded for the accident near Farrell Storage just after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
Lakeville A-2 transported 1 driver to Good Samaritan Hospital. Brewster Ambulance transported a second driver to Rhode Island Hospital. Brewster provided an additional ambulance to the scene for EMS care.
Car 1 responded from his home and assumed command of operations.
Lakeville PD and State Police kept responders safe by shutting down Route 44 during extrication.
A dog in one of the vehicles was not injured in the crash and was claimed by a relative.
