18 year old nabbed for stealing school i-Pads, Macbook Pros
Portsmouth Police solved a case involving missing tablets at a local school.
Portsmouth Police Detectives received information that a computer tablet had been recently pawned in Newport by eighteen year old Adam Conde of Portsmouth.
The property had been previously reported stolen from the Portsmouth Middle School. Portsmouth Police Detectives contacted Newport Police and with their assistance were able to secure an affidavit warrant for possession/receiving stolen goods and obtaining money under false pretense. Portsmouth Police conducted a search warrant of Conde’s residence and arrested him based on the Newport Police affidavit arrest warrant. Conde was turned over to Newport Police after he was processed.
Several other tablets reported stolen were also recovered through this investigation which included 8 i-Pads and three MacBook Pros.
