17-year-old from Bay State accused of string of robberies with firearm in Massachusetts, Connecticut
According to police, on Friday, North Haven Detectives arrested a 17-year-old juvenile from Marlborough, MA for their involvement in a robbery of a Washington Avenue gas station which occurred on January 14, 2024.
North Haven Detectives, working in partnership with multiple agencies, including Berlin PD, Fairfield PD, Manchester PD, Connecticut State Police, and the FBI New Haven field office, were able to identify the juvenile as the suspect responsible for multiple robberies with a firearm throughout the state and in Massachusetts.
The suspect was located in Massachusetts and charged as a Fugitive from Justice. The juvenile waived extradition and was transported to the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center where they were served arrest warrants from multiple jurisdictions.
For their involvement in the North Haven incident, the juvenile was charged with Robbery in the First Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in the First degree, and Larceny 6th. They are held at the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center and will be arraigned later today.
