100-year-old Cape Cod man crashes through business causing extensive damage

BOURNE, MA- A driver crashed into a business on the Cape on Saturday morning.

According to police, at just after 11:45 a.m., Bourne Police and Fire responded to multiple calls reporting a vehicle crashed into a building at 4 Barlows Landing Road.

The preliminary investigation showed a 2003 Toyota Camry, operated by a 100-year-old male from Bourne, crashed into Maco’s Bait Shop causing heavy damage.

The unit was unoccupied at the time of the crash and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Bourne Police Department.
