$1 million winning ticket sold in Seekonk
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, a winning ticket was sold in Seekonk recently.
Kathleen Souza of Pawtucket, RI is the second $1 million prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$1,000,000 Winter Ice” instant game.
Souza chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Her winning ticket was purchased at Sam’s Food Store, 1035 Newman Ave. in Seekonk. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale.
One additional $1 million prize has yet to be claimed in the “$1,000,000 Winter Ice” $5 instant game.
