A young man killed in an early morning crash on Sunday is being remembered.

The collision took place on the Wampanoag Trail in East Providence at approximately 4:00 a.m. near Forbes Street, when the vehicle carrying two young adults overturned.

According to family members and a GoFundMe fundraiser, Anthony Ysidro Barajas Jr. died from injuries sustained in the crash.

He was “someone who brought laughter, love, and light into every room he entered. Anthony will forever be remembered for his kind heart, his smile, his loyalty, and the love he gave so freely to the people around him. His memory will live on in all of us who were blessed to know and love him.”
