YaBoi LoCo bringing free family event to Fall River, concert headlined by himself, Bubba Sparxxx also planned

FALL RIVER — Artist YaBoi LoCo is bringing national attention to his hometown this summer by teaming up with rap superstar Bubba Sparxxx for the second annual Lit Summer event on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Bernardo’s Event Center, 403 Anawan Street.

After building a strong working relationship that included a three-day tour together last summer, the two artists are now taking their collaboration to the next level. They are currently working on a new song and music video together, and Sparxxx has agreed to perform live in Fall River — a first for the city and a major coup for the local music scene.

Lit Summer is more than just a concert. The day will kick off with a free, family-friendly community event from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., featuring free haircuts, art classes, dance instruction, face painting, games, and over 40 local vendors. The goal is to create a true community celebration that brings families, businesses, creatives, and organizations together.

The evening will transition into a full-scale concert headlined by Bubba Sparxxx and YaBoi LoCo, with additional national performers, content creators, and viral influencers expected to appear.

“This is about building something bigger than just a show,” LoCo said. “It’s about creating a moment for the city and giving people something to be proud of.”

Organizers hope Lit Summer will grow into a signature annual event for Fall River — a modern successor to the beloved “Fall River Celebrates America” that once drew huge crowds downtown.
