Work set to take place under Fall River Government Center

FALL RIVER – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is announcing that it will be conducting overnight ceiling repair operations underneath City Hall over Interstate 195 eastbound and westbound in Fall River. The work will be conducted nightly from Monday, February 15, through Thursday, February 18, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning. All work is anticipated to be completed by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, February 19.

Temporary traffic control management operations will be utilized including police details and various lane and shoulder closures. A minimum of two open travel lanes in each direction will be maintained at all times and ramps and exits will remain open.

Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.

All scheduled work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency situation.
